Rachel joined the Rachel Park Dance Center faculty in 2014. She is an RPDC alumna, having danced at the studio for fourteen years before her graduation from Middleborough High School in 2010. Rachel was a member of the Rachel Park Dance Company and Middleborough Youth Ballet. She is currently completing her bachelors degree in Early Childhood and Care in Inclusive Settings at University of Massachusetts Boston. Rachel spent a semester in Walt Disney World for the Disney College Program, gaining valuable experience working with people all over the world. In addition to serving as an instructor at the Rachel Park Dance Center, she teaches at the Carousel of Learning. Rachel is excited to return to Rachel Park Dance Center to do the two things she loves most...dancing and working with children.
Jazz, Modern, Hip Hop, Competition Team Choreography
Sarah majored in dance at Dean College and holds a Bachelor's of Arts Degree. While at Dean, she was heavily involved in theater, performing in shows such as Sweet Charity, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Medea and The Producers, for which she held the position of Dance Captain. Dance choreography and performance credits at Dean include the Student Cabaret, Dean College Dance Showcase, Dean Day at Patriot's Place and the Dean College Synergy Show. She was also a member of the Dean Dance Company. She has attended the Summer Intensive Program at the renowned Alvin Ailey School in New York City where she received training in Ballet, Modern, Jazz and Caribbean. Sarah holds special skills in Voice, Costume Design, Lighting Design, Choreography, Stage Combat, Pointe and American Sign Language.
Sarah is a former member of the Rachel Park Dance Company and trained at the Dance Center in Ballet, Pointe, Modern, Jazz, Tap and Hip Hop. She was a member of the Rachel Park Dance Center's Hip Hop Team, winning several awards.
In addition to teaching at the Dance Center, Sarah is a member of Unyted Stylz, a Boston based Hip Hop & Contemporary company. As a member of Unyted Stylz, she has performed in New York City and throughout the Boston area. Sarah is also on the faculty of several other dance centers the south shore and is currently a substitute teacher for the Middleboro and Bridgewater/Raynham schools. In her spare time, she serves as a choreographer for "That's Entertainment", presented by Middleborough High School's Speech & Theater Program. Sarah brings a very innovative style to the Rachel Park Dance Center.
The Dance Center is under the direction of Rachel A. Park. Rachel began her dance training at the age of three and has studied at many different dance centers throughout New England and Pennsylvania. Rachel majored in dance at Dean College and earned her Associates of Arts Degree, graduating with high honors. Training included Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Modern, Musical Theater and Voice. While at Dean she became a member of Phi Theta Kappa, Dean Dance Company and the Musical Theater Ensemble. Rachel is certified by test to teach through the Dance Teacher's Club of Boston, of which she remains an active member. She continues to improve and enhance the training offered at the Rachel Park Dance Center by attending curriculum courses, workshops, conventions and master classes. In the past, Rachel enjoyed volunteering as a dance instructor at the Boys and Girls Club of Taunton. In addition to serving as owner and Artistic Director of the Rachel Park Dance Center and Middleborough Youth Ballet, Rachel is married and a proud mother of two.
Tap, Jazz, Competition Team Choreography
Anne-Marie is a graduate of SUNY where she received her B.A. in Performing Arts. She has had the pleasure of performing in Italy, Philadelphia, Long Island and Manhattan with a professional dance company. Anne-Marie taught children throughout the New York Metropolitan area and Georgia before moving to Massachusetts. She has been on the faculty at several other dance centers in New England and enjoys teaching dance at the Middleborough Elementary School Sharp Program during the summer. She is currently a substitute teacher for the Bridgewater/Raynham school district. Anne-Marie currently resides in Middleborough and has been an active member of the Middleborough MOMS Club. Anne-Marie is a proud mother of two.
Pre-School, Primary, Ballet/Pointe
Michele is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire with a Bachelor's Degree in Theater and Dance. While attending the University of New Hampshire she performed with the UNH Dance Company and the Seacoast Ballet Company. She received her earlier training with Marylou Cunningham, Director of the Hanover School of Ballet, and went on to study with Jose Mateo's Ballet Theater of Boston and School of Boston Ballet. Michele has attended summer programs at STEPS with the late David Howard and American Dance Festival at Duke University. Michele has performed leading roles in Ballet Theater's Nutcracker, as well as many of Jose Mateo's original works.
Michele is EEC certified and has worked with infants, toddlers and pre-schoolers at Children's World Training Center in Norwell and Pilgrim Pre-School in Duxbury. She has taught Creative Movement , Ballet and Tap at Dance Workshop of Hanover and Ballet Theater of Boston. Michele currently resides in Middleborough and is a proud mother of two.
